Watermelon Macaron.


How are guys doing? I hope everyone is doing well. Do you guys love Watermelon??

I must say I in love with watermelon, I have watermelon plushy, watermelon phone case and even watermelon handbag. There is something about watermelon make me so happy:) Remind me of my home, back in Malaysia, it always summer there!

Anyway, Im making a white ganache and not watermelon flavour because, I dont like artificial watermelon taste from the flavouring. I added a pinch of salt to make the ganache taste salty & creamy. I personally like the balance of it. You can omit the salt if you find it weird.



  • Make sure all the utensil dry and oil free.
  • You can use vinegar to remove excess oil.
  • Make sure all ingredients are in room temperature.
  • Use fresh egg.
  • Make sure the macaron dried up before put it, in the oven.
  • Sift almond flour & icing sugar together. This help to get a smooth surface macaron.
  • If your almond powder is too coarse, you may blend it using food processor. 

Watermelon Macaron.


  • 30g egg white | 30g telur putih
  • 45g caster sugar | 45g gula halus
  • 35g almond flour | 35 serbuk badam
  • 40g icing sugar | 40g gula aising
  • 50g white chocolate | 50g coklat putih
  • 17g fresh cream | 17g krim segar
  • Pinch of salt | secubit garam
  • Pink & green colouring | Pewarna merah jambu & hijau
  • Cocoa powder and water/ edible black pen | Serbuk koko/ pen makanan hitam


  1. Melt white chocolate and mix well with warm cream. | Cairkan coklat putih dan campur sebati dengan krim segar.
  2. Put in a pinch of salt and let it set. | Letak secubit garam dan rehatkan.
  3. Whisk egg white until foamy. | Putar telur putih hingga sedikit berbuih.
  4. whisk in caster sugar, 2 parts. | Putarkan bersama gula halus sedikit demi sedikit.
  5. Keep whisking until shinny & stiff. | Putarkan ia sehingga ada tanduk dan bersinar.
  6. Fold in sifted icing sugar & almond flour, 2 parts. | Guna kaedah kaup gaul, masukkan gula aising & serbuk badam, sedikit demi sedikit.
  7. Keep folding & scrapping until ribbon like texture. ( refer to the video) | Kaup gaul hingga tekstur menjadi seperti ribbon (sila lihat video)
  8. Divide the mixture into 2, pink & green colour. | Bahagikan adunan kepada 2 bahagian, warna merah jambu dan hijau.
  9. Pipe the mixture on a baking paper | Paipkan adunan ke atas kertas minyak.
  10. Let it dry until skin formed & not sticking on finger when touched. | Biarkan permukaannya kering. Jika sentuh, tidak melekat.
  11. Bake for 15-16 minutes at 140C. Let it cool. | Bakar pada suhu 15-16 minit pada suhu 140C. Biarkan ia sejuk.
  12. With cocoa mixture or edible black pen, draw the seed. | Guna serbuk makanan atau pen makanan hitam untuk lukis biji tembikai.
  13. Pipe the ganache on green macaron and sandwich them with pink macaron. | Paipkan coklat putih ganache keatas macaron merah jambu dan tutupkan dengan macaron hijau.
