Pandan Cheese Bun | Roti Pandan Keju

Pandan and cheese sound like a weird combination but they married well. The sweet aromatic pandan goes well together with salty creamy cheese. If you never tried it before you are missing the best flavour combination.

The bake cheese on top not only providing taste but also texture to your bun. Soft buttery bun with pandan flavour & cheese is the best complimentary to your tea time or even breakfast. It stay soft for days. Just dont forget to keep in airtight container or plastic.

Pandan Cheese Bun | Roti Pandan Keju

Ingredients

  • 320g all purpose/bread flour | 320g tepung serbaguna/tepung roti
  • 7g yeast | 7g yis
  • 140ml pandan juice(140ml water + 5 pandan leaves, blend and sieve) | 140ml pandan juice (140ml air + 5 helai daun pandan, kisar dan tapis)
  • 50g sugar | 50g gula
  • 20g milk powder | 20g tepung susu
  • a pinch of salt | secubit garam
  • 60g cheese & 30g sugar | 60g keju & 30g gula
  • 1 medium egg | 1 telur saiz sederhana
  • 60g butter | 60g mentega

Instructions

  1. Mix everything except butter in mixing bowl. | Campur semua bahan kecuali mentega ke dalam mangkuk bancuhan.
  2. Turn on low speed to mix well all ingredients. | Guna kelajuan perlahan untuk campur sebati bahan.
  3. Put in butter, once they combine well. Turn the second speed and let it knead for 10-15 minutes.| Masukkan mentega selepas adunan campur sekata. Tukar kelajuan kedua dan biarkan ia adun selama 10-15 minit.
  4. Window pane test ( watch the video) | Uji elastik ( Sila lihat video)
  5. Cover and let it double the size | Tutup adunan dan biarkan ia kembang 2 kali ganda
  6. Degas the dough and divide the dough equally or 40g each. | Uli untuk keluarkan angin dari adunan dan bahagi sama rata atau 40g sebiji.
  7. Roll into ball & arrange in cake tin. Cover and let it double the size. | Bulatkan adunan dan susun di dalam loyang. Tutup dan biarkan ia kembang 2 kali ganda.
  8. Sprinkle mixture of cheese & sugar on top.| Taburkan campuran keju & gula di atas adunan.
  9. Bake at 170C for 15-18 minutes. | Bakar pada suhu 170C selama 15-18 minit.
  10. Remove from cake tin & enjoy! | Alihkan roti dari loyang dan selamat makan:)
