Crispy Chocolate Chips Cookies

Classic all time favorite by almost everyone in the world, Chocolate Chips Cookies. As we know throughout the years there are so many version of Chocolate Chips Cookies. Some are cakey, some are crispy and chewy version too.

As for me, I prefer light and crispy version of Chocolate Chips Cookies. It took me more than 5 years to keep trying to get a version that I delightedly enjoy!

HERE ARE THE TIPS ON HOW TO BAKE IT PERFECTLY.
  • Make sure the butter is in room temperature.
  • Do not use a whisk.
  • Do not over mix, make sure just well combined.
  • Use good quality butter and semisweet chocolate chips.
  • Put in freezer for at least 30 minutes so you can shape it easily.
  • The dough is quite wet that is normal.
  • Let it cool on wire rack once baked
  • Keep in airtight container to keep it fresh and crispy!

Crispy Chocolate Chips Cookies

Ingredients

  • 150g wheat flour | 150g tepung gandum
  • 100g butter | 100g mentega
  • 100g brown sugar | 100g gula perang
  • 30g caster sugar | 30g gula putih halus
  • 1 medium egg | 1 telur sederhana
  • 1 teaspoon salt | 1 sudukecil garam
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder | 1 sudukecil serbuk penaik
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda | 1 sudukecil serbuk soda
  • 250g semisweet chocolate | 250g coklat chip semi sweet
  • 7g vanilla sugar or 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence | 7g gula vanilla atau 1/2 sudu kecil perisa vanilla

Instructions

  1. Mix well egg, sugar and butter. | Campur sebati telur, mentega dan gula.
  2. Sieve flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt into the butter mixture. Mix well. | Tapiskan tepung, serbuk penaik, serbuk soda, dan garam ke dalam campuran mentega. Aduk rata.
  3. Pour 3/4 chocolate chips into the dough and freeze it for 30 minutes. | Tuang 3/4 coklat chip ke dalam adunan dan sejukkan di penyejuk beku selama 30 minit.
  4. Preheat the oven at 160-170C. | Panaskan oven pada suhu 160-170C
  5. Roll the cookie dough into ball and arrange it on baking paper. | Bulatkan adunan dan susun di atas kertas pembakar.
  6. Flatten it a little bit and randomly put few chocolate chip on top of it. | Ratakan sedikit dan letakkan coklat chip ke atas adunan tersebut.
  7. Bake for 12-14 minutes. | Bakar selama 12-14 minit.
  8. Let it cool on wire rack. | Sejukkan ia atas redai.
  9. Keep in airtight container to keep it fresh and crisp! | Simpan dan bekas kedap udara supaya kekal elok dan rangup!
