Coffee Cream Donut | Donat Krim Kopi

First of all I wanted to wish Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrate it! I hope everyone is with their love one’s. I wish you a blessed celebration!

This time Im making Coffee Cream Donut! There are no better combination other than coffee and donut! A subtle taste of coffee cream with fluffy donut, you will crazy for. A simple snack to make but taste divine! I will leave few tips down below to help you bake it perfectly!

TIPS FOR A PERFECT Coffee cream DONUT
  • Make sure to do “window test” / “uji elastik”. A proper knead donut dough is crucial for a fluffy texture.
  • Fry at medium low temperature.
  • You may use wheat or all purpose flour too, but it will take longer time to knead. This is because bread flour has more proteinĀ  in it, hence easier to from gluten. Which make your donut more fluffy
  • If you dont have instant coffee you may use coffee powder too.
  • Poke or make a hole inside your donut. So the cream pipe easily.
  • Keep the coffee cream chill.

FULL RECIPE

Coffee Cream Donut

Ingredients

  • Donut Dough
  • 300g bread flour | 300g tepung roti
  • 7g yeast | 7g yis
  • 20g milk powder | 20g serbuk susu
  • 20g sugar | 20g gula
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt | 1/4 sudukecil garam
  • 30g butter | 30g mentega
  • 1 medium egg | 1 telur sederhana
  • 130g milk | 130g susu
  • ________________________________
  • Coffee cream
  • 1 tablespoon boiled water | 1 sudu besar air panas
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder | 1 sudukecil serbuk koko
  • 3 teaspoon instant coffee | 3 teaspoon kopi segera
  • 200g whipped cream | 200g krim putar
  • 30g caster sugar | 30g gula halus

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients for the dough and knead it at medium speed for 10-15 minutes. | Campur semua bahan untuk doh dan uli pada kelajuan sederhana selama 10-15 minit.
  2. Its done by checking the " window pane" ( refer to the video) | Ia sedia selepas "uji elastik" (sila rujuk video)
  3. Cover and let it double in size. | Tutup dan biarkan ia kembang 2 kali ganda saiz asal.
  4. Degas the dough. | Buangkan angin dari doh
  5. Roll the dough to 1/2 inch thick | Ratakan doh pada ketebalan 1/2 inci.
  6. Use cutter to cut out the donut. | Gunakan penekap untuk menghasilkan donut.
  7. Cover and let it rest until double in size. | Tutup dan biarkan ia kembang 2 kali ganda.
  8. Whip the cream and sugar until stiff. | Putarkan krim dan gula hingga kental
  9. Mix boiled water, instant coffee and cocoa powder together. | Campurkan air panas, serbuk kopi segera dan serbuk koko.
  10. Mix well Coffee mixture with the cream. | Aduk rata campuran kopi dan krim putar bersama.
  11. Transfer the cream into piping bag and keep in chiller. | Tuangkan campuran krim kopi ke dalam piping bag dan simpan di dalam peti penyejuk.
  12. Fry the donut at medium low heat. | Goreng donut pada suhu serhana rendah.
  13. Roll it in caster sugar. | Sadurkan donat dengan gula halus.
  14. Pipe the coffee cream inside the donut | Paipkan krim kopi ke dalam donut.
